Its that time of year again – the Americans get ready for football. In a slow month, NFL teams will open training camps and teams of college football practice. In the north, but the bullets are flying already as a pro football in full swing in Canada with the Canadian Football League (CFL).
The football fans may not realize how long and storied history of the NFL Pro Football style really is. The federal government has been there about since’30 and the Cup championship Gray (mainly CFL Superbowl) since’09 summer. Many NFL stars began their career in the CFL, including Doug Flutie, Jim Kelly, and Jeff Garcia.
The CFL is a very high level of professional football, but there are some important differences between him and the NFL game:
Firstly, football itself is bigger – the CFL ball is bigger than its American counterpart. If you know something, rugby, its about the same as a rugby ball # 3 means it is slightly longer and thicker than the ball of the NFL. The CFL field is longer (110 yards) and wide (65 meters from the NFLs 53.5 meters) and the CFL end zones are 20 meters deep and 10 yards in the NFL game. The doors are CFL on the goal line, while the NFLs are the bottom line at the back of the endzone.
CFL teams are entitled to an extra offensive player (wide receiver) and defense, they allowed an extra defensive back. This means that 12 players can be on the field at once, satisfy only 11 in the NFL. CFL Football is as different as the only three teams to win ten meters deep, four to the U.S. Soccer forward. The phrase “and two” will, as usual CFL football like the word “three and out in the American game.
A major difference in the profession is the “only”, the CFL team one point for a kick Awards – usually a punt or missed field goal – which enters the end zone. This is often partly produce scores of 1-0 or 1-1, which is impossible in the American game.
Usually the difference between one of the NFL and the CFL, the importance of play is not applied in the field, its application in the office of GM. Canadians are too big for the laws and regulations to protect its national identity – which is why television stations and radio stations are required to devote a certain percentage of their airtime to Canadian content. This number is from Canada, the media only led to a good two star (The Tragically Hip, Sloan) and bathroom (Avril Lavigne, early 90s rapper white snow). The CFL has a similar rule that “requires the 40-file player must be born a Canadian. This does not prevent the CFL into a de facto development league of the NFL, and helps to preserve their unique identity.
