How many drivers in the formula can you five minutes? Now, how many female pilots can call them? A little more difficult, is not it?
This despite the fact that the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has never, even during less politically correct now, so that women equal men’s race. About the FIA is concerned, they do not like to sit in the car until they were able to drive.
One often hears the refrain: “Women can not drive!” For the skeptics, I say: “meet the wishes of Wilson, Amanda Whitaker, and Danica Patrick” to name a few.
The three ladies began to request Wilson things off by winning the South African Formula Ford Championship in 1976. He ran at the age of five years in the micro-miniature car on unpaved roads. The vehicle with the motor scooter is capable of 60 mph, but his father, South African motorcycle champion Charlie Randall, cars manufactured and fully supported his efforts.
In the early 1980s, he won the Aurora Formula One series in the United Kingdom, and attempts to qualify for the Grand Prix at the old Williams. But he has another car as he was when he won the Aurora series and can not get used to the new Williams before the qualifying round was over. But in his career, won 23, 16 seconds place, 42 third places, documents 17 fastest laps and 28 laps, all major international events.
Amanda Whitaker is widely believed Britain’s most complete pilot. He began racing karts for 15 years and carried out by his second year in karting, in top three of the four major championships.
